ALEX’S Priorities
I’m not running for Congress because I necessarily want to. I’m running because I’m able and ready to lead, and I’m not going to sit on the sidelines.
Everything that holds this country together — honor, integrity, common sense, the rule of law, mutual respect — is under attack. Donald Trump and his followers are tearing at the fabric of our democracy, undermining the very institutions that protect our freedoms. I can’t sit back and watch it happen.
Here are my priorities:
Protecting the American Dream for All.
Every citizen — no matter their background — deserves the opportunity to work hard, raise a family, and build a better life. That dream is slipping away, and it’s our duty to fight for it.
Defending Our Public Institutions.
Our educators, our law enforcement officers, our first responders, our public servants, and the men and women of our armed forces who work hard every day to keep our nation and our communities strong and safe. They deserve leaders who respect their service, invest in their success, and stand up for the rule of law.
Saving Medicare, Social Security, and Public Services.
We must protect the programs our seniors and working families rely on — not gamble them away to score political points and fund tax cuts for the rich.
Strengthening Public Education and Rural Schools.
Every child, in every town and every valley, deserves access to strong public education — the foundation of freedom and opportunity.
Preserving Our Public Lands, Water Rights, and Natural Heritage.
Our land, our water, our air — they’re not bargaining chips. They’re our legacy. I will fight to protect Colorado’s public lands, defend local water rights, and preserve our environment and way of life for current and future generations.
Restoring American Leadership and National Security.
We must stand with our allies, defend democracy at home and abroad, and ensure that America’s word still means something in the world. National security isn’t a slogan — it’s a sacred trust.
Bringing Back Mutual Respect.
We don’t have to agree on everything. But we do have to respect each other again. We need leaders who serve the people — not themselves — and who work to unite this district, this state, and this nation. Neighbor helping neighbor.
I’m running to serve.
I’m running to defend the promise of America — for our seniors, our families, our farmers and ranchers, our workers, our children. To proudly serve our communities, proud of the communities we serve.
Because if we don’t fight for it now, we risk losing it forever.
I’m ready to lead that fight. This is OUR Colorado Third.
