Impactful

Alex's professional journey exemplifies his diverse experience, bridging the gap between Main Street and Wall Street.  From an early age, pitching in at his family's San Luis Valley grocery stores, Kelloff’s Food Markets, he learned firsthand the importance of small business in sustaining vibrant communities. Demonstrating his entrepreneurial spirit, he co-founded Armada Skis, blending his passion for the outdoors with economic development and jobs.

His executive experience includes most recently serving 6 years as a Partner and member of the Investment Committee at SDC Capital Partners, where he was instrumental in allocating investments to rural broadband networks, data centers, and wireless infrastructure nationwide, directly addressing the digital divide. Prior to SDC, Alex spent 14 years at Jefferies, including as Head of Telecommunications Investment Banking, where he successfully managed over $20 billion in global mergers, acquisitions and financial transactions focused on IT and communications infrastructure.

Prior to Jefferies, Alex worked at Booz Allen Hamilton where he advised on strategic projects for federal agencies, military commands, and global telecom firms, and held a Top Secret SSBI security clearance.

While at Booz Allen Hamilton, Alex was the first civilian contractor to receive a United States Marine Corps Certificate of Commendation from the Commanding General of the Recruiting Command.  He began his career at Coopers & Lybrand Consulting, where he focused on technology projects for federal agency clients.
