Don't Be Fooled:

Dwayne Romero Is the Real Republican

Romero donated to McCormick’s campaign flipping pivotal seat in support of Trump

Dwayne Romero is running attack ads trying to mislead voters about a 7-year-old donation. Here's what he doesn't want you to know.

Romero donated to flip a blue Senate seat red.

On December 31, 2023, Romero made a deliberate political contribution to Dave McCormick, the Republican candidate in Pennsylvania's closest Senate race in decades. McCormick won by a razor-thin margin, giving Donald Trump the Senate majority he needed. McCormick then cast one of the deciding votes for the One Big Beautiful Bill, a vote so close that Vice President JD Vance had to break the tie.

The consequences for CO-3: Medicaid cuts in the district with the highest Medicaid enrollment rate in Colorado. Rural hospitals at risk. DOGE.

Romero helped make that happen.

Alex's donation was personal, not political.

In 2019, Alex made a one-time $1,000 contribution to help a 27-year-old cousin get started in his career. The recipient, Mitch McConnell, was an uncontested incumbent in one of the safest Republican seats in the country. The donation had zero impact on his re-election or any legislation.

That cousin was an early supporter of Alex's campaign. He passed away this year at 34, leaving behind a wife and a one-year-old daughter.

One of these candidates funded the Republican agenda hurting this district. It wasn't Alex.

Romero knows that. That's why he's attacking.
